Every bottle, a vision

Meet the passionate people behind our unique wines. Their stories are filled with tradition, hard work, and a love for creating amazing flavors.

Buonamico. Italy.

Giulio Magnani, a dedicated winemaker from Montecarlo, traveled to France in 1870 to study grape varieties and winemaking techniques. Bringing back grapes like Sauvignon and Cabernet Sauvignon, he experimented to create more refined wines. This led Montecarlo wineries, including Buonamico Estate, to produce high-quality wines, earning international acclaim. Today, under the Fontana Family, Buonamico remains a leading Montecarlo winemaker while preserving traditional methods and expanding both vineyards and cellar.

Tenuta Buonamico

Carsin. France.

Chateau Carsin, dating back to 1759 in Rions, initially joined Chateau Salins. In 1805, it became an independent property with 17 hectares. The house retains 19th-century elements, and its exterior remains unchanged since 1901. Purchased by the Berglund family in 1990 with 14 hectares of vines, winemaking ceased in 1964. Under Berglund ownership, New World techniques were introduced, and a modern winery was established. In the 2000s, a shift to organic and biodynamic methods occurred. Owner Juha Berglund's daughter, Nea, became the winemaker in 2016, focusing on minimal technology and manipulation to showcase the authentic characters of their vineyards.

Cantaburros

Cantaburros. Spain.

Poor, dry, calcareous and covered with stones, the conditions weren’t too promising but since, and according to local files, there had once grown vine; we adventured into viticulture.

Here, in the very heart of the Ribera del Duero region on the central plateau of Spain, at an altitude of approx. 800 m, where winters are freezing cold and summers extremely hot, where the difference between day and night temperatures can vary up to 25º;  we planted our first 10 hectares in the year 1989.

Rough and rustic as the location; Cantaburros (singing  donkeys) also seemed a perfect name for a wine produced under such circumstances.

La Francesca
La Francesca - Patrizio

La Francesca. Italy

In 2004, Franca and Patrizio embarked on a venture, purchasing 7 hectares of land around their home. Inspired by the birth of their daughter Francesca, the company was named in her honor. Motivated by passion, historical, and cultural values, they invested boldly in viticulture, expanding to sunny hills in Empoli and San Miniato. Currently owning 25 hectares of vineyards and 6 hectares of olive groves, their family philosophy revolves around blending tradition with innovative techniques. Embracing organic agriculture, they prioritize expressing tradition and innovation with respect for the environment. The journey, marked by slow development through study and research, remains in continuous evolution.
